Cyber Tournament 2009

The Kazakhstan Student Society in the United
Kingdom is very happy to announce the registration for the very first
Kazakhstani Cyber Tournament in the UK. We are inviting you all either
to participate or to watch and support your friends!
The
tournament will be held at Gamerbase, the most advanced gaming centre
in the world! Gamerbase Piccadilly Circus is located in the heart of
London and situated within HMV at the famous London Trocadero.
Gamerbase offers a cutting edge First Class Gaming Experience on some
of the most advanced gaming machines ever produced by Dell and Intel.
There
are two games we chosen for the first tournament – Dota, so much
popular among gamers not only from Kazakhstan, but the whole world; and
FIFA10 on XBOX360 console, there are 6 XBOX consoles, so 12 people can
play simultaneously.
FIFA10 Tournament on XBOX360 (1×1)
Single or double elimination type depends on the number of players participating. We will choose during the event. The rules for the tournament is as follows –
Match Settings • Half Length: 6 Minutes • Difficulty: World Class • Goalkeeper Difficulty: World Class • Game speed: Normal • Injuries: On • Offsides: On • Carding: On • Number of Substitutes: 3 • Adidas Live Season: Off
Teams. Players can use either club teams or international. Players can swap teams during an event.
The
entry fee from each player is 20 pounds. This includes – 4 hours of
playing time (10 pounds) and money going to prize fund(10 pounds).
Don’t worry if you don’t use all your time in one go, it’s saved to
your account for next time!
Depending on the number of players the prize fund will be split as follows: 1st place = 50% of prize fund 2nd place = 30% 3rd place = 20% Please note – The cap will be closed at 32 players, so make sure you register for the tournament beforehand.
Dota Tournament(5×5)
The rules for the tournament is as follows –
This is a single elimination tournament, all the standard rules apply: 1)5 players in each team 2)mode is -cm (will be changed on -ap if there will be problems with -cm) 3)No pooling, backdoor e.t.c is allowed
We
are expecting 8 teams of 5 players to compete in Dota Tournament. The
fee from each player is 20 pounds. This includes – 4 hours of playing

for next time!
So the overall prize fund = 400 pounds. The winner team takes it all.
